A no go

Hi all,

It is a no go with the possibility of adopting the girl. An in coutry Polish family adopted her. That is great for her and sad for us. But it all works out for the best.

News on the Polish Adoption

Hello all,

Our adoption agency called last night and stated there is a girl (single) avx. We requested a girl btw 4-6, this girl (Joanna) is 10.

Cathy and I sent a few questions to our agency and we are waiting their response, before making any decisions.

Keep looking back often as this will probably develop fast, if we choose to go down this path.

The process from here on out.

Hi all,

Now our dossier is being translated into Polish. Once that is finished our attorney petitions the Polish Adoption Authorities for qualification to adopt a Polish child.

Now our wait can be as long as 26 months. Lets not hope it is that long.

I am going to include a few recent pictures of Alex.

Thanksgiving Day update - belated.

Hi everyone,

We are finished all of our paperwork. I dossier has been sent to our agency and it is on its way to be translated in Poland.

Now we are waiting on our USCIS approval letter (that is the old INS service) and the waiting game has begun.

I will include a recent picture of Alex around Halloween time.

The paperwork is off to the SOS

Hi All,

Our paperwork is off to the Secretary of State in Harrisburg. It should be back by the weeks end.

I will then forward it to our agency and then settle back for the wait.

We are almost finished our paperwork. We are waiting on the final homestudy and USCIS approval form from Philly.

I choose a pink background because we are going to adopt a girl. And of course all girls love the color pink.

We are going to Poland!

Cathy and I decided it would be best to goto Poland to adopt again. The two main deciding factors; we can take Alex with us and the process is more stable.
